granderson is 16th in the al in obp, and crawford is 39th so that is a big difference in obp

Out of all the players in the league 16 to 39 is like a inch on a ruler. Not much of a difference. If you think that is a big difference then I can see your just looking for stupid shit to argue about. Also Crawford won a gold glove his 2nd year with Tampa. Also you bolded what I said hence me saying I would take Crawford over anyone on the Tiges roster, which i would. I never said anything about him being a better hitter than Ordonez. Also Crawford didnt get to play full time till his 2nd year. So really he has what 2 years on Granderson? So far Crawford has had a lot better career. Oh and about Thames. There were reasons I am sure he wasnt playing full time. Maybe he didnt have his chance, but besides this year when he did, just to me and obviously his coaches didnt impress them enough to win them over to get more playing time. Also with as many at bats he has had and hits, you would think he would have more Rbi's. Simple math would show you he usually dont have a lot of men on when he hits homeruns. Is pretty evident. Dont know what your arguement could be with that. Is just a fact.

.30 is a lot. 3 percent more of the time granderson is on base then crawford. all the stats i listed were in granderson's favor. i'm not saying he is better, i'm saying that you saying crawford is better then granderson will ever be is simply ludacris. granderson leads crawford in numerous hitting categories so to say crawford is so much better is simply not true.

i would love to see crawford on the tigers cause you can put him leadoff and drop granderson to the 3 hole. also if .30 is nothing on obp, then .17 is even less significant in crawford's ba

he hasn't had the opputunity's to drive in runs. look at the people ahead of him in the lineup. plus with ordonez, granderson, and monroe, hard for thames to break through. also dimitri young was the full time dh. he is getting his oppurtunity and playing well.

OMG, it is not the much more. Out of all the stats you raze me about obp? Also granderson walks alot more than Crawford, which could be leading up to that whopping .30. Have to take that into consideration. Also for about the 3rd time Crawford is leading in more important things than obp. For instance his triples, sac basehits, steals and his average. I mean I cant believe we are egging eachother on about .30obp, lol! I am done with that. So he is making it worth while now. Good for him. I was just stating his career stats were nothing to hoot about. Will he stay when Dimitri comes back? I mean the Angels just sent down Jared Weaver who was 4-0 with a 1.something era and had a lot of SO's. So he better make his time well worth it.

You could also bring up the point of who is batting in front of and behind each of the players. Not exactly sure where granderson bats in the lineup, but if he's in front of or behind Ordonez I'm sure he sees a lot of good pitches to hit. Don't think Tampa has any powerhouses on there team to worry about.

Actually Ty Wigginton and Johnny Gomes are hitting a bunch of homeruns. I think Gomes has 17 and Wigginton has 13 or 14 if I remember correctly. Both of them guys are pretty low averages though. I do think Gomes has some potential though.

detroit won last night which i thought meant we were tied (because if they lost, we would be in first), and they won today, so should they only be .5 up?

Detroit was up .5 game after there win last night. 50-25...sox were 49-25. The Tigers won today putting there record at 51-25. White sox are still playing but looking as though they will drop to 49-26....1.5 games behind detroit unless they have a miraculous comeback.
