He needed the surgery at the beginning of last season.
The dude not only played through it, but won an MVP with the injury. That speaks volumes about what kind of player he is.
IMO, he's putting together one of the best careers in the history of the game.
None of the players I mentioned were Tigers, however Hank Greenburg had a similar run before going off to war.timely hits matter more than 40 homer seasons to a worthless team. No sense in arguing with Lug he will just throw up "better" tiger players than the 2 MVPs LOL
Miguel cabrera is definitely one of the top 5 players in the game, i have to agree with that. But by no means is he an albert pujols.timely hits matter more than 40 homer seasons to a worthless team. No sense in arguing with Lug he will just throw up "better" tiger players than the 2 MVPs LOL
So what makes you think he will get healthier with age? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifThankyou, he won 2 mvp's with a bad elbow. He's been injured since 03.
why not, he is as strong as anyone in the league. His workout routine is probably one of the best in baseball. That is why I don't think he will break a lot of career records. A-rod is going to making them farther out of reach, and I really don't think with his health he can continue this pace into his mid-30's.
LMAO.Miguel cabrera is definitely one of the top 5 players in the game, i have to agree with that. But by no means is he an albert pujols.
Albert pujols is not just the michael jordan of baseball, he is even more elite than jordan was at his own game.
i don't know what is so funny, it's true. Look up the stats, and i am not talking about the Championships jordan won. I am talking about performance.LMAO.
He has a history of injuries and will most likely need Tommy John surgery. Injuries don't get better with age. Pujols in the prime of his career. Physically when you hit 30 you start to decline. Injuries start taking their toll at 30. I don't think he can sustain this success.why not, he is as strong as anyone in the league. His workout routine is probably one of the best in baseball.
i disagree, more like 33-35 is when the productivity decreases among players. And WTF are you talking about, tell that to chipper jones who just hit .364 this year.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifHe has a history of injuries and will most likely need Tommy John surgery. Nope physical decline starts in the low 30's. Manny's numbers were trending downward after turning 30. Sure here and there you have big seasons like Magglio in 2007, but physical prime is between 25-30.i disagree, more like 33-35 is when the productivity decreases among players. Oh, and Manny ramirez as well LOL
His power numbers are lower after turning 30 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifManny has been a beast since he turned 30..
