among a few others, but they also want robinson cano for those players and i dont think yankees will do it, abreu wants a 3 year contract but i belive him and giambi are on there way out..that will free up a ton of money..abreu just doesnt deliver enough to compensate for his contract..

theres teams that havent ever won a world series, then theres teams that havent won them in 40+ years let alone even been to one..lol and im supposed to feel bad because the last time the yankees not only went but won the world series was only 8 years ago? oh ya right good burn there man..lol by the way if you cant count thats 26 world series the yanks have won..how many have the redsaux won?..lol

considering the yanks did even make the playoffs this year with the highest payroll, have had that title for a very long time and not been a major threat to win it in how many years? but heres what i find funny we missed the playoffs by what 1-2 games? but heres the thing our ace pitcher wang,, was out the whole season, our catcher posada was out for 90% of the season,damon missed about 3-4 weeks, arod missed about 3-4 weeks, matsui missed about 50% of the season, joba missed close to a month, and we brought in new players and expected them to learn the system from week 1..through all this we only missed the playoffs by 1-2 games..lol now imagine if all our players were healthy? god help these other teams next year when the yanks are healthy in the new stadium..lol

Red sox missed Ortiz for 40 games, Lowell for a lot of the season and now is out, drew as been on off since late July early August...No Schilling this year...yet they still beat the Angels ....
