detroit does //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifwonder who has the best pitching now...
only 3 pitchers on the tigers staff are over 30. verlander and bonderman are both future aces. robertson has been getting better, and should've won more games but didn't get any run support. kenny rogers will have another typical kenny rogers year, the bullpen is deep, so they really only need 5 innings from their starters and they go mesa>rodney>zumya>jones. if i were leyland i'd make ledezma my 5th starter and put maroth in the bullpen. maroth faired better against lefties and with his injury, he maybe better suited out of the pen as the lefty specialistbased on last year.... muhahahaha
lmao 30 games? you realize the last pitcher to win 30 games was denny mclain with the 68 tigers? matsuzaka has never thrown a major league pitch, and will more then likely be another hideo nomo. schilling not sure what you'll get from him. injuries only get worse with age. beckett has been injury prone and his 5.01 era is nothing to get excited about. papelbon was a great closer but will that really translate into a great starter? then who is gonna close? not only do the tigers have more good arms, they are young and only have upside wheras boston's pitcher are veterans who have already peaked, except for papelbonteam you laughed at earlier lol red sox. they didnt have a pitching staff last year at all schilling was hurt and their best healthy pitcher was a closer..i dont expectDaisuke Matsuzaka to win 20 or 30 games but if he goes over 4 or 5 over .500 they will be in the play offs. they got A LOT of arms this year.....
