8 in a row and seem to be in cruise control. This next couple series against the Yankees and Red Sox will be a good barometer I think. The Tigers are beating the teams they SHOULD beat. You've got to remember how many people the Indians left on in scoring position. If we had acted on even half of those, we'd have won. We're kicked our own ***** in that game.

Of course I remember the missed opportunities, I watched the whole game. But YOU also have to remember that Detroit pitching ALSO had a little to do with the MISSED opportunities. They pitched themselves into a few jams and pitched their way out of them. I remember seeing atleast 2 fly balls for the Tigers and 2 fly balls hit by the Indians that might have left the park had the wind not been blowing in. But those were even for both teams.

You notice how there hasn't been any talk of bonds passing ruth in this thread. It's becaue no one give a fu(k about bonds.

Oh and I've got this plan that going to let Bonds know that no one give a fu(k about him. I just hope it works. If it does, we'll find out on friday when SF come to NY.

Ok, thats not what I was thinking.

Here's my idea:

Mets are hosting SF this weekend.

Everytime Bonds comes up to the plate to bat, the stadium as a whole should start chanting

"Asterisk, Asterisk, Asterisk" (you know in that chanting voice, assssteriissskkk)

This will really show Bonds that we do not appreciate him for being a cheater that he is.

I hope everyone attending the game to join in on letting Bonds know where his place in Baseball history his.

Everyone attending the game or anyone that knows someone attending the game should spread this word about the chanting.

SO PLEASE, PLEASE help spread the word. Post similar messages to this in any forums that you visit or any other Mets realated sites or forums. The more we spread the word the more likely this is to work.
