i haven't actually stood on a mound and threw a pitch in over 3 years so i don't know how much velocity i have left. pitching wasn't my strong suit. 2-seam fastball, changeup, and splitter, but none were really that good. i know i tipped my changeup cause my arm motion was not the same as the 2 seam and my splitter was basically a slower 2 seamer, with little downward movement50's is nothing, If you can throw from 2nd to 1st on a line you are throwing at least 50.
It will be interesting....and Im kinda worried after these last 2 days....then we have KC again I think after youafter kansas city, chicago has 3 at minnesota, and 4 at detroit. i do not believe detroit will loose 4 at home. detroit is gonna come out and play hard at home against chicago
Need to read some of my posts before. In no way did I say Polanco was a power hitter, said Infante is more a threat for that, but Polanco did have 2 seasons where he hit 14 hrs and 17 in back to back seasons. He also played less games than Infante. Also where I dont know what your talking about speed as well, when I said Infante had that age a little too. But, you said clearly that Polanco stole 14 bases at most where as Infante has stolen 13 in less games. Thats funny because Polanco stole that in a 126 games to where Infante stole that in 142 games. So dont understand that.wow what the **** are you talking about? polanco was never an all-star. polanco has stolen at most 14 bases in a season wheras infante has stolen 13 in fewer games. polanco before coming to detroit hasn't played more then 144 games, and before that played 126 and fewer. polanco batted 277 with 1 home run and 19 rbi's when he was 24. you my friend are the one who needs glasses
also polanco 10 homeruns and 77 rbi's first 4 years. infante 26 homeruns and 69 rbi's. also consider infante played on some bad teams were polanco played on some very good st. louis teams, and both had 19 steals. only think polanco had was a better batting average wich i'm not denying. once infante learns to hit off-speed and breaking pitches, he will be a great player.

So he has a little more power, and speed, but not by much. Polanco is a better all around hitter and better at the field, like I said if he was so much more talented and has so much potential then why start Polanco? Just cause Polanco is a vet? Come on mang! I would do that maybe with a rookie, but Infante has been in the leauge for awhile now.
You were right about him not being an allstar. Thought he was the one year, but got hurt and replaced by another player.
