The InstallBay AK02 from Sonic good wiring kit?

the wire is junk, the 1/0 is about the equivilent of 4 gauge I still have 15' of it in my garage collecting dust.
That kit he is looking at is junk though, I bought the same kit last year and was quite dissapointed when I saw the 1/0.
you clearly do no know what 0 gauge is actually suppose to be. true 0 gauge conductor size is suppose to be .32". the wire in that kit is rated at 250 amps. you like so many other tools do not know what you are talking about and just say what you heard other people say. Knu Fleks and Kicker Hyperflex as well as RF all use oversized 0 gauge wire to make clowns like you think that paying 2-3 times the price for a minimal increase in current.

Op, if that is within your budget get it. it's actually very nice wire and very flexible like Knu Fleks and the like. personally i use Install Bay wire on many of the installs I do for people and have never had an issue with the wire.

Ya I do know what true 1/0 should look like and this stuff is not true 1/0 it's not even close. I don't run knu, kicker, stinger or rf wire. I run 2/0 and 4/0 full copper welding cable

True 1/0 fine for 800 watts

thank you, point proven

soo.... this is a good cable wiring kit??
And would i be able to use some of the 1/0 for a big 3 upgrade or not?
you'll be fine with that wire, not sure what car you have but you probably wont have enough to do a Big 3 upgrade. if you hit me up in a week or so I'll have some of that cable on a spool and could work something out to get you enough wire to do your Big 3. got ring terminals too.

The chart posted is for solid cable, not stranded. Solid 0 gauge has a OD of 8.251mm(.3248") and stranded is ~9.530mm(.3751") roughly 15% difference. In any event gauge is determined by area of the conductor, not diameter because a stranded cable that uses large gauge strands will appear smaller then that of a cable with many finer strands. This is due to the air gaps (displacement) within the cable no matter how tightly twisted the rope lay is
