why not just buy the ones that are already made ?
i got 8000 and i love them, yeah you can see the blue in them but i dont think its as bad as people make it out to be.4300k for slight blue tint. Trust me, they SAY slight blue is 6000k or 8000k, but after 6000k they are BLUE. I used to have 8000k and got sick of them, so I switched to 4300k and they are perfect.
i would not go with those, they are cheaply made and do not look like anything sufficient. and they offer up to 12000k and by law in my state anything over 8000k is illegal due to it being so blue and cop laws with impersonating an officer. trust me order through the site i did, you will not be dissapointed
Hah, that's what I started with. They aren't a projector, it's just a glass lens. The light output is shit The best thing to do is a retro. Here is a light output pic of the ones you linked. They aren't even worth the $5why not just buy the ones that are already made ?

So i know that aftermarkets HID's are illegal but i haven't seen or heard of anyone actually getting pulled over for them... i have had mine (8000K) for about a month now and i've even gotten pulled over without the cop saying anything about themThere is so much misinformation being thrown around. You should check out HIDPlanet.com for the best info. Any retrofit kit is illegal. Using OEM stuff will get you the most OEM look, and you might get away with it. I have luckily not been pulled over, but I just don't know how when I had the 8000ks. They were really blue/purple. The 4300k is the perfect color, and what most OEMs use. If your car did not come from the factory with HIDs or you didn't have a dealer install the factory HIDs (08 Mustangs have HIDs optional, but the whole kit can be purchased for 05-08 Mustangs that didn't come with them, and they are legal because they are OEM....for example) then it is technically illegal. So you might as well try and get the best lighting you can without drawing attention to yourself...
