Well, nice to see the bows satisfied and did very well in the SQ department. Man I'll have to someday put some MAGs in the car.

im happy to see the FIQ 12 got a good review. for a $250 sub it did real good compared with subs that are $450, $500 or more. I like the FIQ more and more now. Its a great sub with a good price.
I just have one Q, how come there was no IDMAX in the test?

i would not take a FI Q 15 over a Mag 15. Mag better for SPL and Mag better for SQ. However i will probably try to get my friend to buy some ssd's, if he does his spl set up.Love both companies

why is it some of the subs off the original list were not tested, i wanted to see the type R

type r will be tested.. it didnt show up in time b/c of a crappy ebay seller

other subs just didnt show up after they were promised ( ie napalm and tc 3k )

no clue other than the fact that they didnt show up

funny, i don't see me saying that i've have. I just prefer the looks of the Mag over the Q, and would not take a Q over a Mag just because of the test.(which had the Mag hit higher for spl burp and rank higher for SQ comparisson). I was actually just posting that to bug the guy who said q did better than the Mag at half the price. I'm sure they're great subs and the price is right, however this is a fun sport for most who just want to hear bass. I didn't recommend anyone else take Mag's over Q's, i said that was my opinion, so relax. And for the record i never recommend any subs over another that i've never heard or had hands on dealings with. Just to let you know, i had my first Mag since 2005 and wanted one when i had my e15a. Just wanted to let you know i didn't buy this sub because of forum boner but due to research for years of SI and their products.kthnxbye

we tested what we got.. and that's all we can do..

the Type R is on the way now.. and we'll be tested..

any subs you may consider switching the Mags out for? ****, after all the subs you listened to and tested it wouldn't surprise me. Great test and we respect the time it took you as well. i'm jsut taking the results with a grain of salt and people must realize that every ccar is different and subs perform different in different environments as well. Good to see we have some sort of reference for subs though. again thanks for the time and effort put into these test. Can only imagine how many times you may have thought about not doing it due to people pm'ng you and probably non stop harrassing you

honestly... there were several stellar woofers in attendence.. but as a total package.. meaning sound, output, looks.. everything.. the mags do it for me daily...

when next season comes around, and its bass race time.. I may pick up a different set of woofers that'll do a bit better with lotta power... but they'll be burp and run only..

the mags have a permenant place in the vehicle for daily use...

The FIQ did better in the ported SPL than the MAG

and FIQ is almost half the price.

I tried and tried to tell people how stellar aura subs and components were back in the day and all I got was "like Carlos says" de de de de duuuhhhh..... A bunch of flatlined retards chanting alpine type R and this crap and that hahaha. Wish it did not have the coil prob, please fill us in once issues are resolved!
