Anyone who refuses to listen to music with:

A) no lyrics

or

B) no intelligible lyrics

has bad and/or narrow musical taste.

first of all you're absolutely nobody to be defining what good music taste is. It takes a lot of gall and ignorance to try to tell someone that A. Your music taste is better or B. Theirs is narrow... You're doing both. And basing it off of your likes/dislikes which could be incredibly flawed...

Sorry if i think horrible lyricism and or vocals turn me off to music. It's a total waste of potential IMO. Doesn't matter how good the rest of the band/group is. Ruins it for me.

But keep in mind, this thread is only serious in its attempt to discuss music of all varieties, I'm not here to bash other peoples tastes. If I do, it's jokingly.

See, it's weird. The condescending elitist thing is kind of a schtick, it's not entirely serious. But then again, it's not entirely fake either.

But one thing that I will not admit to being, or accept being called, is ignorant. If I am ignorant, and it is pointed out logically, I will accept that and work to change it. If something I say is ignorant feel free to point out how and why, because I will do the same for you. Calling me ignorant is often a good way to make yourself look ignorant, though only people intelligent enough to understand the conversation will recognize that. Then again, you may convince some people, maybe even yourself, that I am ignorant, just by saying that I am. It's up to you.
