The end of The King of Beers?

Almost all of the parts in your GM vehicles are made overseas and then assembled in the US.
The Toyota Tundra and Tacoma are made from parts made in the US and then assembled right here in San Antonio.

true profits head over seas ..the reason the country is in as bad of shape as it is.....now all the major banks are collapsing.....

This might have been a stipulation in allowing them to set up shop in N. A. I'm sure if they had their way all the stuff would be coming from overseas.

a big reason the economy is so bad is AMERICAN companies moving manufacturing overseas.

i mean with pontiac in canada, ford planning moves to mexico how does it benefit anyone else in the us for the "profits to be coming to america" unless ur a shareholder at ford or gm.

id much rather have a job and my boss be japanese than not have a job and some other american getting money that doesnt benefit me.

Both ****, money leaving the US economy at different levels.

Indeed. Perhaps if those companies weren't being squeezed out by the foreigners they wouldn't have to seek out other sources of labour or materials...

squeezed out? i dont know about that. american automotive manufacturers have been making an inferior product for years. after 3 american cars that i had countless number of problems with i am now a loyal honda buyer.... both my civics have had zero problems not to mention trade in values are much better than most domestics.

but this is about beer. so far they say no one in the US is losing their job and the headquarters is staying in st louis so i really dont see a problem with the buyout. its all part of business.

The big problem in our country right now isn't the outsourcing of jobs, it's the ridiculous amount of money we've borrowed from the Chinese that we can't pay back and they're looking for payment.

In turn, we're giving them large parts of ownership to our major corporations and most of those profits are heading directly overseas.

Like Communist Russia?
I wouldn't go that far, but I think you know what I mean.

What pisses me off is the one-way street the Japanese seem to have with us here. They remain closed to so much we have to offer them, yet our doors are wide open to everything they produce.

I'm sure there are other countries with that same philosophy too.
