Inbev is owned by the Belgians, they make Stella Artois, and Becks I think

Inbev owns nearly a third of all breweries worldwide. Acquiring AB will make them the largest brew company in the world hands down, with such a wide gap that no other company will be able to top them.

What I find unique is the fact that InBev (used to be called InterBrew) is a private company - it is not publicly traded.

is there anything you wouldnt do for 52 BILLION dollars. i mean that is the point of owning a business, to one day sell it for profit. yes it sucks that a foreigner is buying one of the biggest companies in the US but ****, i cant think of anything i wouldnt do for 52 billion.

As for budweiser I always thought it tasted like shit but spent many many drunkin nights drinking off kegs of it and it always seemed like the 'american' beer so it is kind of sad to loose that part of it though I am sure through marketing they will attempt to keep the same type of image.

I agree, the shareholders are in it to make money, no matter the company, so why wouldnt they sell. AB stock hasnt been much above the 50's until all this talk of buyout, now they are getting 70.

you must be a jew, no pun intended. cmon the owner of anheiser butsh is making good money .he just sold out big time. i might be a cheap *** from time to time . but i like my product made in america. but now the belgians get to satisfy of this green paper we call money!. 52 billion is alot . but what the **** are you going to need that much money for. id rather have 1 million in a bank and make money off the interest. that much money inflates the ego. yes i know money is Power but money doesnt buy happyness. i think its better to be driven and motivited by ones self then to worship and be motivated by money! **** beer.

Are you kidding? Every company InBev has taken over, the product got worse. I don't know if Bud can get any worse than it is already..
