Unfortunately not lol. But like you said in your above post it probably would have been better to just add the new one to the menu. Because people in general don't like change even if it's better.

Putting extra cheese on a Pizza Hut Deep Dish is like asking for a half way cooked dough patty. The extra cheese dose no allow the pizza to cook correctly. Even with the normal amount of cheese, you get a undercooked pizza 90% of the time.

Well since I'm fat and love food, I had to order one. I called and used a coupon I had for a large 1 topping for $5.00 (WIN!) Ordered a half pepperoni half bacon. At first bite, I didn't really taste a difference alto, I did notice the box was more greasy, but not as bad as some people said on the above link. After a few bites I was starting to taste the difference. Once I got to the crust it was most evident. I would say they will be just fine. I think the people who are complaining are the ones who don't like change and were die hards for the original. I myself never liked the original and would order the thin crust if I ever got a pizza from Domino's. In the end, I liked it, and smashed on the *****. Better than Pizza Hut I would say. Ever since 2005 when Pizza Hut went to Frozen crust I have not been a fan. Of the big boys, Papa Johns still owns them all. But Domino's did come correct with the new one. Props!
