The call for Bush impeachment just got bigger....

You can think what you wish, but I refuse to believe the American government caused 9/11 to start a war so a select few rich guys could make some cash on it. Seems to me like virtually every war in history was started over religious differences/ideology or a land-grab. Are you attempting to tell me that all those buses in isreal are being blown up by the evil CIA to keep the region unstable so it is easier to mask the governments secret movements? Did the USS Cole blow itself up? The first WTC bombing- that was the feds too? Marine Barracks in Beiruit? Most of the time the answer that makes the most sense is the correct one. You are certainly welcome to believe what you want, that is one of the reasons this country is great but don't talk to me like I don't have an opinion that matters. I already served my country and did my part to protect our way of life, and frankly most of the places I saw were shitholes filled with people that basically hate America, so to tell me that isn't true is rather foolish.

It is very honorable to fight for your country. My opinion is that the last war worth fighting for was WW2. Then there was the Bosnia issue. That was worth fighting for. In both issues, there was global collaberation (NATO for the Bosnia issue) and the wars were fought in the interest of the global community. Iraq is not in the interest of the global community. It COULD HAVE BEEN, but the way it has been executed, it has been a predominantly American war for American interests.

I understand why they hate us- honestly I do, but when somebody kills 3000 Americans- someone gets an ***-kicking, and i have a hard time feeling that shouldn't be the case- but then 6 years in the Marines has skewed my view of the world a bit, because choice doesn't matter, you follow an order as long as it is lawful. I personally feel Sadaam needed an *** kicking and believe the country would be behind the war far more than they are if they had been honest and said "this guy is a shithead that gasses his own people and has a long history of human rights violations and needs to be removed" rather that some bullshit about nukes he never had but desperately wanted. I do beleive he funneled money to terrorist organizations to strike us, because we kicked his *** out of Kuwait. I also beleive we are on a slippery slope there and it will be very difficult to get ourselves out of Iraq without it being in worse shape than it is now. If we just packed up and left do you think the Arabs would be happy and just call it all good? No effin' way man.

I would say Panama was a solid operation and needed, Somalia and Rwanda displayed the ineptitude of the UN, and the UN caused thier own irrelevence. The fact that they basically ahve done nothing to prevent tragic genocide in several countries shows why the model doesn't work. At some point people have to stop talking and start acting, and I am sorry that that action ultimately costs lives on both sides. I honestly feel americans are to blame for much of this because of our wastefulness and feelings of entitlement to the point of excess. Look at all the ginormous trucks and SUV's driving around- these are the reson we need oil so bad, and the government decided it was better to take it than deal with madmen.

I think that it is time Americans step down in Iraq. Americans have had a terrible loss of forces and no more American blood needs to be drawn. The Iraqis have had it terrible as well.

Wouldnt it be nice if you guys could organize Europe to form a coalition to take over where you guys will leave off? Just imagine if Europe, Asia and parts of the Arab world could come in and fix the mess youve started.

I personally believe that could get the job done a lot better. The terrorists will step down mostly because we all know that this is their opportunity to attack America. I believe in my heart that if America can pull out and let a global coalition go in absent of American forces, that the job will be done a lot better than it will be. Face it, the "terrorists" in Iraq would be more supportive of this than an all American force creating a government.

However, this will not happen. Bush will not take a loss. Bush will not say "enough is enough". He will not back down. He was not a Marine. He was a deserter. He doesnt know what you are going through on the ground. He can sit at his desk and call shots with no idea of what is going on. He also wants the oil. That oil is very valuable to the country and Iraq is a strategic place in the Arab world. For these reasons, Bush will not give up the war in Iraq, but we can all agree that it would be best if he did.

Damint DJGTSR you've moved on to fighting with bikejunkie... ohh well I've got statistics homework to do and I've lost interest in describing my every disagreement with liberal thinking right now... I may come back to wade into it but we'll see... and bikejunkie I'm looking forward to some DLS demoing....

2000 too many.

Last post for now.....

The understanding of economics of the people on that film is pretty sad... typical liberal feeling about concepts that are easily understood with some studying and common sense...

PS I'm enjoying this debate... DJGTSR despite your ignoring of many of my rebuttals and posting of random questionable interweb bs you've kept it interesting and have been diligent in continous debate.... later for now
