Do some research and see how the CIA was involved with cuba, and in recent events, some south American country( I forget which) had a President or some high ranking official assasinated supposedly by the CIA.

im pretty sure that it was nicaragua, and the cia paid to arm and train these so called "freedom fighters" to take over nicaragua and put who the CIA wanted as their leader. a group of people from my church went down their to do some goodwill and came back and presented a slideshow about their trip, and all i have to say is man that place is a shithole. every building has 8 ft high fences with razor wire on top surrounding it, and every kid older than 10 is sniffing paint cans.

Did you see the footage of the Iraqi children who were mutilated by the coalition mortars and gunfire? Dont you dare tell me its win win for them. I never said Saddam was a good guy who treated his people well, but dont start telling me the Iraqis are much better off now.

They are being slaughtered. Their country is a mess. There is no stability. Could you imagine living there right now?

Have you missed the video's and images of terrorists blowing up busses, markets, and world trade centers (ohh yah, that's right you think we did that)... global power positioning always has civilian casualties.. it so happens that America does everything it can to avoid (starting with Vietnam) those casualties while our current enemies actually go out of their way to target them....

And yes I have tried very much to imagine what it's like to live there... I read Iraqi blogs and talk to my USMC friend who is there right now...

Americans gaining? Gaining what? Tell me how you have gained from the war? Oh, did the price of oil go down 2 cents? Im sorry. This war has benefited only a few, and the few do not include the general American population.

Gaining what? go back and watch that movie you posted again.... watch the first 40 minutes and try to keep your internal mental montra of "I hate Bush" quite long enough to hear what they are talking about....

yah most of south and central america is really wacky... in fact anywhere on the equator is totally jacked... I had a friend go to Guatemala and while he had fun he said it was very spooky how the mob ran everything... he some guy walk up who knew his name and asked how he was doing, he mentioned his camera had been stolen and he had it back by noon... that and every hotel is family run, the parents run it, most kids mantain it and the one of the kids will push drugs to the guests...

In the USA you guys seem to be really hating upon a group who you call liberals. Do you guys look at it like, if you have a gun and want to shoot things youre cool, and if you dont believe in wars and you are more for peace you are a liberal?

You can think what you wish, but I refuse to believe the American government caused 9/11 to start a war so a select few rich guys could make some cash on it. Seems to me like virtually every war in history was started over religious differences/ideology or a land-grab. Are you attempting to tell me that all those buses in isreal are being blown up by the evil CIA to keep the region unstable so it is easier to mask the governments secret movements? Did the USS Cole blow itself up? The first WTC bombing- that was the feds too? Marine Barracks in Beiruit? Most of the time the answer that makes the most sense is the correct one. You are certainly welcome to believe what you want, that is one of the reasons this country is great but don't talk to me like I don't have an opinion that matters. I already served my country and did my part to protect our way of life, and frankly most of the places I saw were shitholes filled with people that basically hate America, so to tell me that isn't true is rather foolish.

You can believe what you wish. But understand there is a reason that people hate America. Yes, there is a reason. I dont hate America, but i disagree with US foreign policy. I disagree with the Bush Administration. However, those people on the otherside of the world. They dont see matters from my North American, Canadian, Half American, point of view.

They only see things on how things are observed from their end. America is not the land of the free and the land of opportunity to them. America is viewed as a bunch of imperialistic bullies who are out to wage war in their own interests and take Iraqi oil. In a sense, these, Anti Americans of the Middle East are correct in their thinking. However they dont have the point of view that much of the modernized world does. They apply what they observe to ALL Americans. They dont see the bigger picture. But I dont disagree with them being angry. I believe they have a right to be angry. I disagree with the violence on both sides though.

So, while I am not a supporter of violence, I think it is easy to see why people abroad might be pissed off at the USA. Every problem has a cause.

that is fairly accurate but since the far left has so many various looney factions in it, you can pick out tons of indiviual ideals that define them that are flat out astonishingly ludicrus... environmetalists, animal rights junkies, communists and socialists, abortionist, the race pimps, the fringy gay crowd etc (I even support gay marriage), etc etc etc all drive me nuts...

but seriously he sucks at public speaking but I have the same type of issue with public speaking he does... I'd actually try to fix it though...
