I don't understand how ibanender is the asshat, granted he shipped the amp a little late but didn't he get payment a little late too? He may have poor communication skills, and I only say that because he should have emailed or pm the buyer and let him know that he is really busy with work. Also I think the buyer jumped to conclusions and I don't blame him for it considering that 1000USD is a lot of money. Really what I see is two people (buyer and seller) that made mistakes/ bad choices but that doesn't mean either one of them is a scammer or asshat. I don't blame ibanender for making this tread because of all the slander agents his name, over a failure to communicate.

IMHO both people have made mistakes or bad decisions and the BS should stop here and both people should grow up and stop flinging shit at each others good names

No - I'm saying your argument about his failure to make the payments on time became invalid the moment you decided to accept any payments beyond the aforementioned $800 mark. If it was so unacceptable to you then the monies he had paid up to that point should have been refunded completely and the deal been marked as DOA at that point.

It's much like an asshat of a landlord I had once upon a time. I was late making the rent one month but he accepted it late anyway. Soon thereafter he decided to try and raise my rent. When I informed him in no uncertain terms that he could not legally raise my rent until the lease had expired he attempted to have me evicted for non-payment on rent on time. As soon as I showed the judge the photocopy of the canceled check after it had been processed by my bank when the dingbat cashed it the judge calmly informed my landlord he didn't have a leg to stand on. He accepted the late payment and cashed my check therefore from a legal standpoint said late payment must have been an acceptable practice to him. /story

I do not need to be a personal acquaintence of yours to know that at some stage in the last 30 days you had to have had at least 20 minutes to go and ship out the man's purchased items. I'd wager that if I were actually involved with the deal to any extent he'd have rec'd those amps a long time ago, fella. Like I said - after this firestorm of bad press circulates you all of a sudden manage to get the shipping info to your courier of choice. That process took at maximum 10 whole minutes. There wasn't 10 minutes you could have dedicated to taking care of that at any time in the past month prior to today??

Again, this is not the place for others to chime in with their comments because nobody has any reason to be involved. I made this post so everybody could see it since they only see 1 side of things, and he feels everybody should be in his business.

If someone had a grand of my money and wasn't forthcoming with the gear that said grand was supposed to be buying I'd be shouting it from the rooftops to anyone who would listen hoping to get some sort of positive resolution from it. Wouldn't you???

I hate shitstorms like this....

On one hand it allows "honest" sellers to sell items at a higher price, as the risk of being scammed is lower. Since I am an honest seller, I guess I can sell my items at a higher price.

On the other hand, it causes distrust in the market place. An effecient market or classifieds system requires trust. I have made a couple +$500 purchases (flakko and Lousiana_CRX) with no problems. It just makes me more weary about purchasing from other members.

If I was the guy receiving the amps. I would make sure someone is home to get them when they are delivered. Seller has the buyers address linked to google maps in his sig.

Miss Cleo ~ You're obviously exactly as big of a douche as your now-deleted posts on the other forum showed evidence of. (having those threads/posts removed was likely a wise decision on your part, however)
You and KARLEON had an agreement about a payment plan. Whether or not he didn't abide strictly by the terms of said agreement became a moot point the moment you decided to continue accepting payments above and beyond the $800 mark to complete the transaction.

His late payments were apparently acceptable to you since you allowed him to pay out the remainder of the total owed.

Since that's been paid off in its entirety it has been what? A month? Maybe a bit more? Unless you were laid up in a hospital somewhere in ICU on your deathbed there is no way in Hades that you didn't have time before today to get those amps shipped.

Obviously you had time to get on your other forum and post BS about how KARLEON was trash-talking....but you didn't have the time to process a shipment through UPS as you obviously managed to take care of today? That process took what - two minutes or so? And after that you won't even need to get by the UPS depot since they'll come pick the package up at your residence or place of business?

You're right. Possibly those people not involved have no real business posting in any of those threads. Now you've taken it upon yourself to make it a public dispute even further by posting this thread comically entitled "The BS stops here." No - it doesn't stop here. You had his address from the very beginning correct? So when the final payment was made, the amps should have been shipped out. You didn't even necessarily HAVE to communicate with him online very well... all you had to do was send out his amps... that's it.

You say it took him a little longer with payments, well guess what... you STILL had his money... and what did he have? NOTHING from you for over a month...

This is ludicrous, I don't care if it took him a total of two months to pay... you got to USE HIS MONEY for that amount of time... and he had NO PRODUCT... even a month+ after the transaction was completed.

Threads like this will remain, and feedback threads will remain open... this will bring to light how YOU fucked up, not Karleon.
