ok i have extra cab truck with 2 12'' sx i still have stock door speakers and i need to change em..i was thinkin bout what to do and i figure u guys would know best...should i do a comp set with tweeter and midrange in the front door and then like some 8's in the back or leave the back blank or run 8's up front or wha....i listen to rap but i want nice punchie midbass... what would u guys recommend

then don't do it at all then. it'll sound bad with 8" midbass and sub bass coming from the rear.

that's what i would do. i listen to nothing but rap, and i have tried numerous times to increase my midbass and imo it is just lacking in rap. a good set of 6.5's up front imo well be fine.

u got ne recommendations for a good midbase comp set... my friend has the re comps and his 1 15 drowns them out...

how much power do you have? budget? i have found it very hard to find a decent set of comps to keep up with rap.

i dont have an amp yet but i will get what i need to suit the comps....i prolly spend no more than 250-300 on the set...

if you can find some older boston acoustic pros, they would be nice. off all the comps i have owned they have had the best midbass.
