Ok.. well it might not be the best ever.. but it's pretty close..

system setup:

pioneer 6500

rockford fosgate 6x8 coaxials all around (4)

planet audio tt2250d

Batcap400

dd 9512F

the F must have stood for fabulous... this is the first dd sub i've ever installed.. i've heard several but never on a personal level.. my friend wanted a slamming system so he bought my planet tt2250d, and batcap 400 from me.. and we ordered him a 9512f

I used 3/4 MDF.. and doubled the face up so it's 1.5 inches thick.. glued and screwed with all holes pre drilled and counter sunk every one of them... 2.8 cubes NET... 46 sq inches of port at 38 hz... man this thing sounds killer no port noise just AWESOME bass.. this thing pounds and the gain is all the way down... i can't wait for it to break in and i get to turn it up some...

i had to take out the back seats and all of the trim panels to put the box in.. and it is a TIGHT fit... i forgot to take a pic with the panels back in and the wires cleaned up..

everything is up and running.. i can't wait till the sub breaks in...

sq is good... much better than a few other systems i've done.. alot of people's systems seem to just hit on certain songs which i don't like.. but man this one doesn't have a dead spot anywhere... out of the 15 cd's or so i've played soo far i have yet to hear a song that doesn't sound great... the output is crazy considering this is only 1 12".... i love everything about the DD and Planet combo... it's plain *** awesome...

dude... very informative post...

everything in the trunk is top notch stuff...

head unit could be better, could have a nice front stage with components, and could have a nice amp on them.. however the owner of the car chose not to get that.. he thought it was un-necessary... he's a basshead and that's what i took care of.. so no.. it's not the best.. or close to it however.. it's alot nicer than many people have... in ANY car..
