hahaha i always get weird looks because one day ill have like girl talk and daft punk and stuff on, then others ill have BTBAM and all shall perish on, good to mix it up.I'm surprised to see Girl Talk on here.... I kinda feel weird bumpin that shit sometimes
I find her style of music very different from Zero 7. I just don't quite like it as much.I'm going to have to disagree on Portishead. I thought their new album was a withdrawl from their more melodic prior advances. I deleted it from my mp3 archive.
Im surprised no one mentioned Sia //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I highly recommend this if you even remotely like Zero 7....she used to be the singer for them.
I guess that says it all, doesn't it?I'm going to have to disagree with TV on the Radio. I haven't really listned to their music,
Honestly i didnt think ludas new album was good at all, i liked two or three songs. Nothing light red light district and chicken & beer, where i could actually enjoying listening to the whole cd. seems to me hes turning into that main stream crap, just like snoop, E-40 and busta.I didn't have time or the desire to include every album I listened to. I agree on Crystal Castles, Foals, and No Age....Cut Copy was ok.
Here's actually a list of the albums I had narrowed it down to:
Portishead - Third

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music, but I can almost always tell right away if I'm going to like someone. I know those guys get a ton or critical acclaim, but I just didn't see why. They had to have been the messiest most ridiculous act I've ever seen. Granted, much of that may have been due to the system they were playing on, or they may have had technical difficulties (IIRC, this was on Saturday Night Live). However, I just don't see how SNL's sound system could have crapped them up that bad. That's not to say I won't give them a chance if I get in a downloading mood one of these days, but my expecations won't be very high.I guess that says it all, doesn't it?
I listen to lots of music that I don't like initially. If you've given something a chance several times and it's still not for you, then there's nothing to be done about that. But I always try to listen to an album 3+ times all the way through before I decide if it is good or not. Some albums are not as "accessible" (usually because they're different), but that doesn't mean that the musicianship or music as a whole is bad.
