The banning of Audio has Started

I don't see how this could pass. There have been many other attempts at bills like this. None have ever survived. Came close in STL though..but even that went out the window quickly once it got so far.

LOL if you believe the government can require people to buy health insurance, then you also have to believe the government should be able to tell you what kind of audio you can purchase/own. You can't have it both ways guys. Either you want a socialist government or you don't. Keep voting democrat and you'll keep getting this type of thing.

The health reform has already been judged against in Florida siting unconstitutional.

I understand that but it is still the law of the land until the Supreme Court overturns it. There are still roughly 30% of Americans that think it's a good idea yet I'm willing to bet of those that are on these forums are against this audio ban. That's hypocrisy.

True. All though I do feel heath care needs to be fixed, but I do not agree with what passed, nor do I agree with the audio ban.

Yeah there is nobody that thinks it's perfect we're in agreement there... but you can't turn over your freedom to NOT buy something just because it's something different and you're desperate for a change. Change isn't always an improvement. These people will find this out if this law passes if they try to have an outdoor event such as a wedding, race, auction, etc.

^ This.

IIRC some ass-clowns in St. Louis wanted to be able to confiscate your car on the first offence, just for being in possession of aftermarket audio equipment. (even if it wasn't hooked up!)

Just means they'll have to find new ways to hide their equipment!

Rockford might take heed and do like they did with the old Punch 30, 75, 150, etc. "No more than 100 watts" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Alternatively, you could take your RD D9 to a machine shop and have them carve "100 watts" into it lol
