The Adire Audio Continued

i could really care less where my speakers are made.

as long as they deal with the problems that DO occur. because there will always be problems in the manufacturing process.

find me a 100% US company that manufactures\assembles its products 100% in the us. then start complaining.

adire will (in my oppinion, even though i have no expierence with their equipment, i only have reviews and customer satisfaction and statments from adires team on these and other forums (including their own site\forum) always have good equipment.

i hope they never sell out like some of the bigger companies like RF\MTX\AbAHN\misc.

my hat is off to adire for trying to compete with the world, and opening this new buisness because they are doing their buisness the right way.

congratulations adire. im behind you all the way. and once these 2005 drivers come out, i may be a customer as well.

Good thread. Right now im on the fence post about what subs to buy. Good question if you ask me. Just picked up the Autotek MX-3000.1 and need "NEED" subwoofers badly. The ammount of bass that is now lacking inside the cab of my truck is only making me ill. I have been asking opinions from other consumers on what kind of sub to buy and i have heard alot on Adire and a few other companies which i really didnt want to look at after I seen the RMS power ratings. I think Adire may be what I will be purchasing, and if this is going to be the case, when will these new drivers be out and what is their estimated cost going to be?

Another thing I would like to add on to this thread are the component systems. How well does Adire make component systems and has anyone had any personal experiences with them that they would like to embelish? The amp that I will be buying, since I have heard Autotek's monoblock amps, will be their top of the line Stealth series. They are badass if you ask me, and cannot wait to get my hands on one.

This is kind of a mixed up post, but hey I am a mixed up individual, and on that note, what kind of reccomendations can you give on cabspace. If any of you are not familiar with the new Colorado's being made by Chevy, the extended cab trucks have two ******* doors to get in the back. I will be filling up one side of the extended cab with speakers which will be going right behind the drivers seat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif . I was thinking along the lines of A) three ten inch drivers or B) two twelve inch drivers. These boxes will be sealed, and being I am pushing 3000 watts, I am limited to what I get for subs.

Anyways, you did make a great point on your first post. Too many of these companies once they taste money, sell out. I do hope that this country does start to get more companies that continue making their quality product even after they have established a solid ground with customers.

Later

PS I will be running a nice laptop in the truck with a 17inch screen while having an external hard drive hooked up to it with movies/mp3's running through the aux channel on my head unit as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif

i should be an adire owner...in a few weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif my check is on its way to washington as we speak...

American engineering is not always the best. look at the quality of American POS cars....

i know you are proud to be an American. but such patriotism makes you BLIND.

who are you to say subwoofers/speakers produced in Chile will be inferior?

ps. i am not saying Canadians can build better shat. all i am saying is that it is idiotic to let patriotism/racism to prevent you from thinking clearly.

Most factory workers in the USA on the assembly line are from other countries. Either way foreigners will be assembling your speakers. I almost feel better having production from other countries, they do not have disgruntled union workers that think they they are entitiled to a smoke break every 15 minutes.

And what might we be purchasing from them ???
a Rava...Shiva driver in a 60L cabinet with a 250W plate amp...more subwooferage than I'll ever need in my dorm room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Dont get me wrong, I love my Tempest subs, I was just pointing out that 2/4 subs that were purchased between two people were bad...not the best ratio but the great sound from the subs and the superior Customer Service have made me a die hard Adire fan. My next purchases will be Brahmas when I get enough money.

American engineering used to be the forefront of modern engineering. After WWII we instated our ideals of manufactoring and design into Japan. (since we practially ran and ruled the place) Japaneese engineering is based on what America stood for in the 1950's, and the companies there take pride in their work. American companies (for the most part) are concerned little with pride and quality. My engineering leadership and develpoment was telling us a story he had heard from an employee that had worked for both honda and general motors. At general motors an engine fell of an assembly stand and was damaged. Because of the emphasis on process, the employee was required to install the enigne anyways and it continued down the assembly line until the final inspection revealed what had happened. In a honda plant the same mistake occured. Istead of letting the car assembly continue and installing a bad motor. The assembly line was stopped and the fallen motor was removed from the process and a new motor was installed. Therefore, there was no problem at the end of the assembly line. The lost motor was the only expence not the entire car.

An American engineer told manufactoring that installing a bolt backwards would be a problem for the ford pinto. It was management's decission to continue production and people died not because of engineering but because of the business structure.

Many American companies do not share these same ideals, but for many larger companies quality is a huge probelem.

American engineering is excellent and is some of the best. Large companies fall into the trap of not listening to engineers. Sure chevrolet is using leaf springs on the new corvette and still puts pushrod motors in many cars, but the corvette is a great handling car even if some of its design techniques are outdated by around 70 years.

Hope this makes sense.

Japan is also where we got the JIT inventory system. Americans thought the idea was crazy.......till they saw the success that it had in Japan. We're still years behind them on installing the program and running it correctly, or atleast as efficiently. I know it isn't engineering related, but it is cost related //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif And just goes to show that the US doesn't always know best.

You know that most Japanese cars sold in North America are made in North America, right ?
Oh, and Canada does build better speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif See AVI for details //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i know. but high-end cars are mostly built outside of NA.

anyhow, that's not the point of my post. i am just saying quality doesn't automatically go down when production is moved to other country.

I just hate it when people say : x-brand amp/sub/speaker are not what it used to be because it is not made in USA anymore. what a bunch of bs!!!

Audison, Focal, Sifoni, Scanspeak, Morel, Peerless, Brax are not made in USA and they are some of the best audio eq. brand.
