I warned you in the last pm man, i saw you were online today at 4 pm my time and no response. I dont wanna do this, because you are such a great seller. But i must. Its nothing THAT serious, but customer service AFTER the deal has been done is important as well.

This is the story, i got a 40 gb 2.5" hd from him to stick in an external enclosure a couple months ago, he was very very helpful, even helped me through a shipping problem. Just a couple weeks ago the drive was starting to have some problems. I wanted to listen to good ol ELO, and when i tried to open the folder, the drive just froze, you can hear it working, but the drive froze on my windows. Turns out the same thing happened with a couple of other music folders.

Decided there were a couple of errors in the drive, no biggie, just run scandisk... no work, got stuck on that stupid ELO folder. OOKAY backed what i had up onto my laptop HD and DEEP defraged...the HD froze...OOKAY, maybe a quick Defrag...that worked! now when i try to copy, move or play them off the Hard drive, it locks up. Tried to defrag again! (I think of hardware problems as a last resort, cuz you know how windows is lol) Same things happened the drive locks up. that is when i came to hte conclusion that the drive is busted.

did you make sure that the message was confirmed? i know you can check the status from our profile setup. maybe he is like me and will log on 2-3 weeks before i notice someone has PM'd me

hmm have you tried putting the drive in seomthing else like inside your laptop?

unless the hard drive is making some really weird noises then the problem might be something else. ive had hard drives act exactly like your saying from bad power suppliesand have even had them make click whirl click noises from bad power. i would check that first new external usb enclosures for 2.5 can be had for like $30 bucks @ compusa if it fixes the problem great if not you can always take it back .

If the problems happened a while after the transaction, I know rthis may sound bad, but as a seller, I would tell you (the buyer) that it is probably your problem and fault and deal with it.

But the fact that he won't even reply and offer a bit of advice or even the rude comment that I would make saying it was your fault, suggests to me that it may really be his fault and he may be aware that there could have been problems and now just plans on avoiding it.

Not replying makes it look so much worse on him.... even replying with a rude (or whatever you want to call it) email would have at least looked a little better than just ignoring you... seems a little shady.
