that one thing that i don't like to do is

when i sit there and tell people that car audio is my hobby and i can possibly help them out with selecting a system..

after we talk for awhile, how they just tell me some stuff and they are 100% sure that they are correct b/c someone in a mag. or friend told them it..

for example.. guy in my class ( i saw him hold up a crutchfield mag.) so i ran over to him.

me - eh man you bout to get a system or something

he - nah i already just got one

me - dang really from where

he - this mag

me - how much u spend

he - over 15000

me - **** (acting surpised) what u get

he - sony hu, sony mp3 changer, 2 pair of polk coax's, 2 mtx 6 series 10's in sealed box, 2 mtx amps

me - dang

he - yeah, i can't stand that bang bang bass that comes from 12's i like the rich ness and fullness of these 10s .... plus w/the right amount of power they sound like 12s and i want something that beats really loud

me - oh i see

me - alpine type r comps, infinity. etc....

he - well i just don't like hifonics, jl, or alpine

me - oh okay, well i would have suggested somethin else other than polk, mtx, and sony to you basically better products for less money

so i hate talking about it with certain people who think they have some input when yet they only know their own system and have no idea about anything else or anything to do w/car audio other than that the put their cd in and their bass is somewhat loud..

if u put 2 kicker comp's 12s running off 70 watts a piece in an ported box inside an suv it will beat somewhat!!!! but don't tell me that it sounds better than mine or that its the best out there.....

I ported it........gonna go check and see is she's dry..............I have a kid liek that in my class. He did tha crutchfeild thing. He thinks MTX will spank RE, and he it 100% sure is Sony cassette is tha best shit out there.

i hate wiring...i hate it at work and i hate it at home....i especially hate honda's for it.....HONDAS ARE OVER ENGINEERD PIECES OF GARBAGE....man to take my h/u out you take the dash bezel off, in a honda, you have to take the half the console apart, what the hell is that???

Hey, man, I feel your pain... two weeks ago I was on here asking people to help give me guidance on how to get the rear deck up in a 2002 Civic EX so that I could replace a pair of speakers? Well, after SIX HOURS of work pulling seat pieces, pulling pillar covers, unhooking seat belts, etc, etc... I came to the realization that I couldn't get it off because the plugs near the rear window were too close to the window and I couldn't get my hands in there far enough to pull those last three plugs out. The entire back seat is in complete disarray, has been for two weeks now, because I can't get out three freakin' plugs.

Over-engineered... tin-can on wheels... pieces of crap.

P.S. Let's NOT forget the 2 hours it took me to punch holes through the metal, front door frames to attach the new speakers in the front...
