The whole thing stinks of criminal activity. SHE probably shot at the cops and they misspoke about the guy shooting in the confusion. Why would she take all the slugs and die and the guy is still alive. Doesn't make sense. Sounds like she went crazy, as they all do, attacked the police and shot them. Either way, cops cleared, criminal ventilated. Case closed.

One cop was fired and another cop was demoted. Cop was firing blindly into a neighboring apartment. No drugs found and zero criminal record. The guy admitted to firing at the cops first. Why would he take the blame for her if she was already dead? The cops were such good shots that they only hit her six times in over 20 shots, and one of them was in her foot . They never even shot the guy who shot one of their own. They sound like the cops from the movie Superbad. I think that your opinion would be different if Breonna was your Mom, sister, girlfriend, or daughter.

I have no idea as I wasn’t there, just like everyone else. But to say the cops are morons for shooting her and not the boyfriend is meh at best. When you get shot at, are you really going to try and take perfect aim to shoot back?? No, you are going to return fire to either neutralize the threat or at least give you time to get your bearings. I’m not calling the bf a liar but for her to get shot and not him, it sounds a little weird. I’m not saying she was the actual shooter but the only other way I see it is that she had to have been by him at the time and he was just better at hiding or she shot.

And in this day and age to say a cop was demoted or fired so they are definitely at fault is dumb. PC police are constantly on patrol so sometimes people get fired to save the department from backlash even if they were justified.

And I understand people losing their lives is a big deal but holding police to a high standard where they should resort to all other options before things get out of hand is small minded. They get paid less than I do to put their lives on the line day in and day out and with budget cuts everywhere, they are not getting adequate training at all. You can’t expect putting untrained people in high stress situations will end well.

Why would he lie about shooting at the cops first? What benefit does he receive by lying about that? Did you miss the fact that she didn't have a criminal record and no drugs were found in the apartment? She was shot six times in the hallway. The cops blindly fired 20 shots and were lucky that they didn't kill any people in the neighboring apartment. So, what crime did she commit? What crime had she ever committed? The Cops were so shiity that they even shot her in the foot. I repeat, no charges against the Cop shooter and one Cop has already been fired.

Like I said earlier one of my best buddies growing up that I jammed with for years got too drunk one night and when the police came to his house he pulled a gun on them and they shot and killed him I don't have Paul anymore but I'm not mad at the police because that's what happens to anyone that pulls a gun on the cops.

Like I said earlier one of my best buddies growing up that I jammed with for years got too drunk one night and when the police came to his house he pulled a gun on them and they shot and killed him I don't have Paul anymore but I'm not mad at the police because that's what happens to anyone that pulls a gun on the cops.

But, the one who pulled the gun and shot the Cop is walking around free as a bird. The one who didn't have a criminal record or a gun was shot six times in her hallway and died.

I've been at gun point and in three public shootings. The first one was at 12 years old and the last one at 50 years old. I have videos to prove it. It sounds like he shot first, but she was the first visible person. That bad at shooting, yes. They could've killed the people in the neighboring apartment. Again, please name one case where a Cop shooter had all charges dismissed. Just one! Just ONE! Please, just name one!

Meh. While you bring a valid point about "knowing who they are shooting at" because they "have all that training" , There were 20 shots fired. 14 missed their target. Shitty accuracy percentage if you ask me.

I have had cops gun literally 2" from my face, after surprising the cop nonetheless, and wasn't shot. I have been at gunpoint by two cops, ordered on my knees and to the ground, and not shot because I did nothing but comply. Had I not complied, I have no doubt I would be dead now. But complying is what is taught in all civilized households to their children. Comply. Don't talk back. Do as you're told. Show respect. And doing these things, ALL of these things, guess what happened? That is correct. I did NOT get shot. I had my days (separate occasions) in court as is afforded to us all by the constitution. Ms. Taylor was shot for the simple fact of the company she kept. Truth sucks, but makes it no less true. Never in her widest dreams, did she think she would die from the cops shooting her, in her home. Had she NOT gone out with the drug dealer, she would be alive today. I was always taught that you are judged by the friends you keep. And it is true now as it was then. She shouldn't have been killed. But the cops shouldn't have been shot, either.

No matter how anyone looks at it, can't change the fact that this terrible tragedy is anything more, than a horrific ACCIDENT.

Bobby... you keep saying they "could have killed someone in another apartment". This isn't about what could have happened or might have blah blah blah. I could kill everyone I see every day, but I don't so it is pointless to bring up.

Dropping the charges... if they actually did that, was probably a judgment call to shut the public up to help thwart riots.

I do not think she was clueless as to what her people were doing. If I am hanging out with Bin Laden all the time I am pretty sure I am going to have knowledge of his activities. If I choose to ignore the fact that people will be looking for him and ignore the fact that in capturing this person I could become collateral damage... then that is on me, no the people looking for the bad person. She made her bed, now she will forever sleep in it. The choices we make in life matter and they have consequences. If people look at this situation with rational minds and not emotion, maybe we can learn from this and teach others that what choices they make could end their lives.

I have done a s*** ton of illegal stuff and not got caught I do not have a criminal record but that damn sure doesn't mean I was an angel Believe me. Again they had audio evidence, I was smart enough to get out of the game so now I don't have cops coming in my house.

My ex Green Beret fathers last job in the army was training military and police how to identify hostile versus civilian targets. At that short of a range believe me a trained professional is going to know exactly who they're shooting. Do you really think those cops wanted to murder an innocent black woman and bring that on themselves.
this is another example of just keep your nose clean and you'll be a lot better off, if she would not have been associating with known drug dealers and helping them on jail audio tape this would not have happened.
