My brother is a marine double amputee from Iraq and he and his wife was having breakfast at first choice restaurant, when the waiter gave them a piece of paper and it says thank you for your service the waiter wont say who it came from.

When they are about to pay for their food the waiter said its all been paid for, the waiter didn't want to say who paid for their breakfast but the waiter broke down and said the old retired guy that was sitting on the other table and left already.

My brother said this is the nicest thank you he ever got.

I would often receive that same courtesy when I wore my uniform as well. I am humbled by your brother's sacrifice. So many love to say that they love this country, but have not given anything back, or been willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good of this country. So thank you very much to my brothers and sisters who have served or are serving this great country of ours. I salute you, present arms-order arms. I still wear a uniform and protect, but on a smaller scale.
