TFS subs?

A friend recommended me to look at these guys over DD. He said they are 100% made by the people at DC. Anybody with some of these subs able to provide any feedback? Are they good, horrible, better SQ, better for SPL, etc.

The TFS subs? Yeah they are just DC subs with an inverted dustcap over em. Pretty sure it's the same deal with the GPI subs.

I was offered a set of near new DD 3500's for $600 and my buddy said to look at the Frankensteins for a little more. Are they good subs? I never messed with DC much either but I know a couple people with their amps and they are pretty nice.

DC makes good equipment but I would run DD over DC if you can. If you go with DD I would try and get his price down a bit to 550 or so. With $600 you could get close to buying a pair of used 9500's

its hard finding a used pair of 9500's. everybody wants $475 to $550 each
