hehe thanks. But this is an enclosure that's tuned to ~27HZ. It was just a test box. building a new enclosure tuned to 33hz soon...

145.6 is all eh?
Weaksauce for real competitors.

Np Noah, Just hope when i get that new enclosure going, i can hit a ~148dB. (hopefully).

Btw, ya'll got any pics on how to exactly place the mic at the headrest? Didn't do much research on the organization that places the mic on th eheadrest, and was wondering what i would hit at that spot. I heard i need a Stand, is that true?

Thanks.

Well, the official rules state that the meter needs to be 26" from the bottom of the seat. MECA is the org. that has a class that meters at the headrest, BTW. It's called "Reality SPL".

For my testing, I just hang the sensor over the seat and tape the cord to the top of the headrest so it stays in place.

And what's your headrest score? And how much power? And how much cone area? And what kind of car?

kthnxbye

Here's a pic of the placement.

Just get in the car, make sure it's off, hold the mic next to your ear, roll down your passenger window, and play your loudest song.

Oh yeah, I highly doubt you will go up 3db from a box rebuild //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif especially not tuning to 33hz. While it may be possible its highly unlikely, it's just the way it works.

hmm, wish my head unit didnt turn off after a second.....booo
That did ****.

I'm doing a 149.5 to music @ the headrest... maybe louder now...
One Kicker 2500.1, my 6 10" SSD's, in my truck.

kthnxbi.

471" of cone area in a truck vs 176" of cone area in a trunked 4dr sedan. Roughly the same amount of power also.

Nothing is bad about my score if that's what you're trying to say.

More like 1860cm^2 of Sd vs. 810cm^2 of Sd.
What subwoofer are you using?

Also, it's not my fault you're not using your power more efficiently.

nG
Come on noah.

The kids got one 15" in a trunk and you got 6 10's in an extended cab truck.

If it makes you feel any better i've done a 150.2 at the headrest. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif bish.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I've always wondered, with all your talk, why don't you compete? Let's see how you hang.
I have. Not hardcore, but I have.

I'm more content with learning, helping, supporting successful competitors. After I hit my 152.1, I was excited as hell... was all about getting into it... had some sponsors lined up... then I just decided I wanted to do loud *** hell daily again... not to mention there's always this thing called money that I fall short on occasionally.

With bass race and such gaining more popularity, I'm considering that for the next season. I'll actually be hosting some shows next season now that I have my own TL... more than likely dBDrag style.
