I am planning to put 2 15" DVC subwoofers in my new car... I've always liked Cerwin-Vega!'s but I can't find the VMAX 15.4 because Cerwin-Vega! mobile was bought by some company and I find their new speakers sub-par compared to the prior cerwin-vega's... That said, I have this 2 questions

What other sub's are in the same price range that are comparable in quality to the cerwin-vega's and should I go 1ohm (4ohm DVC) or 2 ohm (2ohm DVC) with the setup?

what subs do you guys would recommend me as quality subs??

BTW I've been looking at the MTX's and the Rockford Fosgate.......

MTX and RF ouch!

Look into Mach 5 IXL for great price performance

Audioque 2.5 series as well

Yeah dude, stay away from the MTX, and the RF. The only big name speakers anyone talks about here are the Alpine Type R's. And they don't speak highly of them, but they can make a lot of noise.

I am unfamiliar with all the stuff available to you guys south of the border, but I'm sure you will get a few good recomendations from these guys.
