Teflon sheets inside sub box = louder?

Just a thought... Teflon has up to 12 times less friction than wood which means that air can flow easier, same way how round ports aren't made with coarse materials and are always smooth. I can buy sheets of Teflon on eBay fairly cheap or Teflon tape at any hardware store, if I line Teflon inside the sub box and the port would it help to get better bass?

I have seen people with extremely rigid enclosures gain a dB simply by coating the interior with resin. I have also seen, while I was in Europe, Extreme 2 cars gain from just painting the interior with a gloss paint. Give it a shot if it's cheap and let us know how it goes.

Neither of those applications saw increases due to less friction.
