I dont know about you Jmac, but Im pretty sick of all this crap going on with the Educational and Medical system in B.C.

well i have read through this entire threed.....and where as many of you guys that smoke weed have made some strong arguments for weed being legalized.....in all reality making it legal wouldnt do anything but cause people to move on to harder things....medical studies may show that there are no long term effects from smoking......but the short term effects are the ones that matter......i to have seen many people smoke them selves stupid and end up dropping out of school and end up getting paid minimum wage.....i mean some of these people were the brightest and most promising kids i went to school with......and they ruined their lives because they wanted to get high and feel good for a while.....what ever happened to hard work and determination????? dont see much of that any more now a days......neways.....im done for now

Alot of people are like that goddy. But see quitting pot is like quitting smoking cigs but easier. All it really is is breaking routine. Ex. Everyfriday nyte Julie smokes a bowl and goes clubbing. In order to quit Julie gets rid of her bowl, and goes to tha movies. Its all a matter of diversion...............as far as moving on to harder drugs or itbebing a "gatewat drug" that 90% BULL$HIT!!!!!!! It CAN be a gateway if u let it be. Those who let it be a gateway mainly are those who smoke 10 times a day. I know one person who sticks out in my mind in particular, he smokes pot 4 tymes a week and NEVER has done any other drugs. He is 64 years old. This man is my Uncle Billy. He never let tha high get out of hand, he never got into a cycle, he just did it when it felt liek a good tyme, not a certain way to function...........I seriously(spelling?) believe if pot was legalised that it could solve some of usa's problems..........Would give the Amish something new to grow and sew quilts out of, would cut the tax money used to pay fro its prevention and use that $$$$ to fix our roads, start a new hospital plan so u can get in and out of those 4th layer of hell's faster, or possibly take out Bin Laden, and Hussein...............My basic arguement here is pot has been around for eons, its not deadly, and it is onl;y a gateway if u make it become one.

How is legallizing it gonna help us out any more than our current position? You do know if we legalize it, then the % of usage of other drugs will increase greatly, then what do we do? Legalize heroin? Why not legalize giant freakin nuclear bombs for rodent reppelants?

Korea is currently one of the world's leading country to still utilise hemp... hemp is still very much alive...

The traditional Korean clothing is made from hemp, most old-fashioned doors and walls are made from hemp...

Okay dude by ur method of thinking if we legalise one drug then everything else will be pushed for legalization?????? No way. People know and quite possibly may have seent he damage the others such as Crystal meth, crack, heroin, PCP, and X have done to people. And WTF was up with tha rodent bomb comment??? While funny it way extrem;ly unexpected. All I am saying is Pot really isn't that bad.........I guess its one of those things if ur around it in different lights u see it differently.

Yes very true but alcohol was made legal for a reason. In Europe the water is so vile that alkcohol was what was drank with meals instead of water or other water derived, un boiled substances. Now that Europeans had moved to America they were so used to the taste that they couldn't get used to water or much of anything else. Therefore, alcohol was made legal. Now as for cancer sticks.......make them illegal. They are more diease and death causing than anyother substance. I say substance beacuse they are a DRUG. They aren't 100% natural. The tobacco doesn't just grow anywhere like marijuana does.

do u guys realize that at one point in time herion was legal? all the way up to the late 60's i believe.....anyway, it was a prescribed med......and nobody thought we had a drug problem then.....

it didn't become a problem till someone said it was no good and made it illegal..now i believe herion is bad, i'm just using that as an example.....

but u know....weed(and the thc in it) isn't any worse then alcohol or cigs....y not legalize it? step-up drug? ok...go ahead and legalize ALL drugs....that way there are no pushers...u can go to 7-11 and buy ur bag..if ur 21...which..if a kid can die/kill for his/her country(the U.S.) at 18..y do they have to wait to drink? they can buy cigs.....

I feel ya Mrray. I personally am trying to cut back and possibly quit pot as its eating some of my audio $$$ right now. Allthough my friend just got a bag so basically that ideas gonna have to wait. All i know is to each their own. I say legalize pot. Its not bad and really its partially a basis of tha country.

Hey J, ever think about what would happen if the cops found you? Who cares about now...look into the future...do you see you and your wife sitting there tokin' up while trying to feed your newborn? I know your not that irresponsible - but just think ahead, think about what could (and will) happen to you.
