Teenage girls attack man riding "A" train.....racism?

I had an opportunity to date a black girl once in high school. Her friends made several comments about my race and encouraged her to break up with me. That was my last venture into multi-racial relationships. I don't see myself ever venturing down that path again.

As someone that rides the A-train almost everyday, Im 95% sure that it was not a racist thing. That's complete crap, you see these HS kids on the train every single day, they just look for someone to pick on and beat on. Broadway Junction is one of the worst stops on the train, its full of little kids who think there much older than they really are and look for others to rob and screw with.

Im surprise no-1 else jumped in, not of anything else.

Where did I defend them? I would never. They are scum. I know this. I just think some rational thought will show he wasn't in any fatal danger. If you judge the actual me by 90% of actions and words I have in the lounge, then you really have no clue. I guarantee if he used any excessive force he would have had repercussions as it wasn't necessary. I don't see this deadly force they used in that video.

I merely asked how you come to that conclusion. I am curious to know what part of my displayed personality grates you.

I am hardly a liberal *** gasket and agree with your thinking to an extent. I agree criminals are coddled too much. The problem is, I realize the environment I live in and base my decisions rationally on that info. I may not agree with many things in this society, but I still must play along with them and base my decisions off of them until they can be changed.

Realizing something is not the same as agreeing or defending. The fact that you have a hard time distinguishing the 2 makes you ignorant.

Apparently you missed this fact, so I'll repeat it, maybe you can actually grasp the concept through repetition:

"Sorry, getting jumped by a gang of punks in a subway is grounds enough to fear for your life... we hear about stories like this all the time where people end up with serious bodily harm and/or death. That's grounds enough to use deadly force... no law says you have to take a beatdown by a group of thugs rather than defend your own life."
