wasn't really taking a chance as it had a 3-year warranty.... I didn't know that at first but either way. I would take the chance if I was only spending about 9% of the MSRP... Would your turn down a $25000 car for $2K even if there is a chance the motor is junk? I know I wouldn't

So, you used the warranty from the manufacturer? Did you have to show proof of purchase or anything like that? Some companies are a real pita with honoring warranty stuff.

I just had to give them the serial number of the monitor. they looked it up and said "we'll get a new one sent out monday morning (called them friday around 4pm). Got the new one on wednesday along with a UPS thing to ship the other one back to them at their cost...
