The coolest part about Alma's setup (to me) was that the team used underhung drivers with tiny (fu
cking tiny) coils to generate all that pressure. Purely riding on the sensitivity thing. I mean, the hydraulics to pull the doors in tight and all the other fortification was impressive. But if everyone could see how tiny that coil was, they would realize it was truly a scientific approach to achieving that goal. Right down to using the PPI phase modules to align the drivers. Big deal back then.
