Want to see if he can get some new mods authorized? Or give you mod privileges back? You're around more than any current mods, and somebody has to keep the classifieds in check. Lots of bullshit spam.

Also, it would be cool if he could fix the search function. It hasn't always been broken, I used it last year.

Another thing I hate is when you can't see the last page of a thread. I changed it so the newest posts show up first, but I don't like this reversed order as much.

Bro, the search function has always been broken.

That means the thread is broken. It is common for really long threads. There's no fix. It still happens in VB forms that have been upgraded beyond the version this one is running.

Well it's annoying to users of the general forum.

Really, it hasn't always been broken. It was usable.

So there's nothing that can be done? Any idea on what exactly causes the longer threads to "break"?

Annoying the users is something I enjoy. Why would I want to stop that?
Even when it kinda worked, it was still broken. It only searched a specific time frame.

Yea, we aren't getting any traction for a couple reasons. It doesn't make money like it used to so it isn't worth his time. The last time he put forth the effort we upgraded to this version and he went out and replaced all of the hardware. That was around 2008 during the forum's peak. Then in 2009 it started to tank and it will never see the glory that it once was. There was a time when you literally had to chose the threads you wanted to participate in because there were so many active you couldn't read them all. That won't happen again. Forum tech is a Gen-X platform and they're either dying IRL now or that faggot MoT banned them. The next generation went to Facebook. I am unsure we'll even get another upgrade in the future here.

Yeah, I can see that forums aren't popular anymore. I'm not on Facebook though. Not really a fan of it. I wonder if Goob would consider selling the forum. I'd buy it even if it's not a big money-maker

Anthony went hard to the paint with Goob back when he was buying up every car audio forum on the planet in the early '00 days. It didn't work.

I wonder why he won't sell it if it's not making a ton of money. He's not active and enjoying it, so I don't see his attachment.

I don't see the attachment either but it is there. Perhaps because it made him a fuckton of money when the Internet was young.

My guess is that it's either sentimental or he's waiting to see if it will eventually pick back up (like riding the stock market).
