I was contacted by "Lowe’s Home Improvement" (the TM term) because of a trademark infringement, like on Google, when you search my site for Lowe’s it was added to the META tag and page title (
example ). My response was I couldn't control people using their trademarked word but I could log the users IP so they could file a case against them.
Needless to say Lowe’s didn't like that idea and didn't want to be black listed from my site so they left it alone.
