It doesn't matter whether you are just saying you don't like them or all-out flaming them. There is someone out there in Team Gates that will like whatever product you are flaming.... which completely breaks the reason that Alma founded the team to begin with.

You obviously know nothing about Alma or team Gates. I've had the distinct pleasure of taking her to dinner with the rest of dBs and talking to her at length. (I've also made her, and the rest of TG, homemade key lime pie at SBN 2001.)

As to what you said: We all have our opinions about products, I like some that Alma does not. Ditto for most everyone on any team and TG is no exception. And as such, we can recommend for, or against, a product and state factually why, but that's it. No flaming of a product or company is permitted. I dont like eD, and frankly wouldn't recommend the products at this juncture, however I do wish the company their best. I also dont like JL's stuff at all, however I do not flame on any of the thousands of "...w7 is god..." posts. I only try to illuminate fact from fiction and hype from reality on those that I post on.

As for your avatars, I've always taken the stance that if you have to ask if something is ok, then it is not, so dont even ask and dont do it. So to play it safe, make a more subtle avatar. If you arent' concerned with TG, consider this:

Right now eD can go after you legally for using their trade symbol in your avatar and not paying them royalties....

It was directed at anyone stating that team gates members can't give a negative opinion on a product. You most certainly can, but you can't flame. Obviously no offense is intended to anyone who thought that.
