i told jake to take the plastic off the hatch so he would gain 3-4 inches of clearance when i saw this the day after it was "finished"

I told him the same thing and he also can slide the box forward some. But he likes how low it peaks in car, so I doubt he'll mess with it.

Just a loud daily driver, so I don't think he's worried about putting up great numbers. 150+ in the low 30's was his goal I believe. Not sure if it's there right now, but with more power that shouldn't be a problem...

30hz tuning is way more dramatic!!!My previous box was tuned in the low 40's and peaked at 47hz.It was nasty but not really violent.With my new build it is peaking at 34hz and tuned in the upper 20's.The differance is tremendous:wow:Alot of the songs Decaf made play perfect on my system and have mad output!

I peak around 49Hz, but still get plenty of impact from Decaf's songs. I don't care for the super low shit that just beats up on my car though.

Looking good so far. My wife would freak if I ever put something like this in her van. Box looks to be above the window line so ss no-wall is a no-go. Not that dB Drag is a main concern of yours anyways. The port is definitely loading off the hatch and lowering in vehicle tuning. But that just makes it even better on music.
