No offense to squeak as this is in no way directed at him but I feel it must be said ~ being made/voted/however it works into a moderator does not automatically make one exempt from being stupid. Even stupid people can become popular enough to get voted into one position or another.

If people trash the box taking up the whole trunk, then they're obviously not looking for spl. Although I've never seen anyone whine because of that, they are mistaken if they do.

His boxes loud? Yes (never seen/heard one). Is he entitled to be excited about it? Absolutely.

However, the largest problem I've seen, is in every thread no matter what specific woofers are mentioned, the Type R and TCAB box come up. "I want a 12'' IDQ, and want pure SQ". Two seconds later Sblazer is in there saying "omfg teh tipe rrrr! get teh tcab and itz so lowd, look at myne!" After that, people start dissing Typr R and TCAB boxes in the thread, and like clockwork Mark comes in to defend his box. He has every right to defend his boxes, and I'm sure anyone would in that situation.

That's a good point. I remember this happen with the whole RE, ED, Adire, etc vs everything. Only thing was it wasn't a few people it was just about everyone. Maybe it would be in Marks best interest to just put a good tag line in his sig and if anyone's interested then they can click at their own will. I for sure wouldn't want this type of negative contraversy upon my business startup.

Hell instead of stirring up a frenzy of negative feedback about a box because of over hype it could easily gain a better business perspective by using one of the quotes you have above as a sig line:

People that are looking for loud systems see that and don't want the hassle of making their own box most likely will say hell that's what I want! It creates enough interest for those who are looking. Then the website could close the sale without the unecessary debating, over hype and excessive advertising claims.
