For the same (excessively high) price Mark was charging for particle board slapped together in predefined designs, you could've paid a reputable, decent speaker box maker to get a much better quality box. Hindsight is 20/20 though, what can you do. I'm surprised so many people paid him after it became widely known the boxes were made from complete crap.

Everyone always talked about those high prices. Shit you could go BUY all the tools and supplies and make it for that.

no, it doesn't have no angles, but you can ask for bracing/angles. yeah, 240 is still high, but i had no time. Between work and school, i had such limited time to do anything. woodlawn cabinety quoted me 315 for a slot ported box and bracing

and when was it known that his boxes were complete crap. his boxes are not crap, they are just not worth the money.

I have spent close to $1k on tools, but if I were skilled I could have spent less than $200 and achieved similar results.

He had a good start-off because he hit 150 with one 12. Him and his teamates did well in lanes, hyped the type-r. He could have made a lot more money if he didn't make poor business decisions. It doesn't matter than you can build a better box for less if you got magic SPL...
