What design did you "come up with"? I thought the pictures i saw were just external aeroported boxes, which were used in db drags before that..

Not hating, just wondering, maybe i saw some other pics?

Assuming you dont have a kenford 2000 watter, being as no single 12 can handle that sort of power...

the designs are vehicle, application, and woofer specific. External aero's were used sometimes, sometimes not. Totally revolutionary, not entirely... but the best box for the application, yep.

They still wang... although I am intrigued by some of the new offerings out there... best believe I'll be building and testing as time and $ permits!
