Lots of haters, but they are great subs no doubt...

Just now that they're sold under the AP name(and nearly doubed the price), they're not worth the money...just like a JL woofer, IMO. Good woofers, but only worth about half the price.

Thats true, they are pricey. Great subs though, find some used TC subs. Usually can be had for a good price

If you look around you can find them for a lot less than you may think.

either way the one in the corner is different, so either

A: you have 3 oxidized motors and one good one

or

B: you have 3 motors with clearcoat and one without...

unlikely considering the shape of the motor... atleast one part of it would show up like the other motors

There is the tiniest spot of flash on the motor at the front, and if you look at the flash reflecting off the underside of the cone, it starts to fade/stop about half way up to the edge of the basket.

revrider-I am looking for subs that i can put in a box tuned at 45 hrtz and go to a meca show and hit dbs and when I am finished I can put a port insert in the box and be tuned at 35 to ride around and listen to.

lol... there alot of history behind everyone hatin on him... he has some nice subs but has made quite a few rediculous claims about them in the past

Heard a LMS-Ultra 15" on 3000 watts. Was not impressed AT ALL. I would never ever buy anything from TC besides the 5200 (even that I wouldn't buy, because of price), simply because it is a 4hp motor.
