TC Sounds TC-3000 12" or Fi BL 12" Subwoofer

ye...i'm thinkin bout gettin a tc-3000, i've been lookin into the btls, but i'm not sure yet...if u look on tc's website, they have a deal going on now..it's some nice beefy lookin for for 195 shipped...check it out..

Waiiit, so everyones saying if I wire my amplifier (1600watts RMS at 1ohms) to that sub, it will actually be putting out 2ohms at less than 1100watts RMS? If thats the case, I'd rather get a BL that will handle the 1ohms of my amplifier. Is this what is being cleared out for me?

It may be less and it may be more depending on the frequency and actual impedance. What I'm saying, is that the amp will see around a 2 ohm load. With the BL, the amp will see around a 1 ohm load. The load will vary over frequency and can jump pretty high. Don't worry about this though. The amp should work well for both subs.

Hmm, still not very sure. What in general sub-wise would be louder/lower and will the BL be in 1ohms and TC-3000 in 2ohms?

Im worried bc I had a Type-R at 1,100watts RMS (rated, before impedance rise and such) and it wasnt as good/car shaking as I wanted before I blew it, and I want something that can handle high wattage.
