TC sounds recone

Can tc recone any sub sent to them, or does it have to be a specific kind. I have an older phoenix gold ti12 that I would like to use, but I got dicked in getting it fixed by phoenix gold. Any info would be appreciated. I would rather make an *** out of myself here than trying to go directly to tc. Thanks.
