The RL-p is a solid sub, and so is the BL but they are made with two different ideas in mind.

the rlp and tc2000 are not made for pure SPL, but they certianly get loud.....

If you want SPL get an Fi BL....The tc2k and rl-p are not designed for SPL. They are SQ subs that get loud..Great for low end

TC9 is the motor...not the sub.
If people are saying they are selling a TC9 sub, its a custome driver with the TC9 motor

well I know that my brother was dead set on a 15 rlp, but once he realized that tc sounds made their woofers, he decided to go for a 15 tc2000 based on the specs. Well Although we havent heard the rlp, the tc 2000 is excellent SQ but also gets loud, very loud in fact. The volume rarely is past 1/2 on the eq.
