how should i instruct the guy to find out if it is?

if its not does it have screws behind the grills?

if not is it as simple as just twisting off, is there any tricks i should know?

bottom line its a nasty sub and u should try to get it off him.... i def wouldnt pay more than 200-250 tho... who in ohio has that what area i might know who it is

if its not qca, then yes, its bolted down.
if it IS qca- it may have a small allen head in one of the spokes. loosen that if applicable, then simply twist. tahts all.

probably a proto LOL. looks like its a eclipse ti, the surround probably rotted out and he got it reconed and painted the basket. i wouldnt pay more then 225 shipped for it.

you think someone painted it with the texture like that, other than TC?

i just think its a one off built from TC, ive seen the same textured baskets on the OEM's and the older Stryke subs

and he has the T/s specs printed out from TC
