the is-101 IS the oem 10...minus the screwd up surround issues. you're not gonna like the 11ov.2 after having the is-101. frankly the 101 is a pretty darn good driver....real good for the money. i had one but sold it before i even used it because i was scared of the glue issues.
i wanted to sit here and say, you might not have had any problems with the company, but you will....but then it clicked in my head that it doesnt matter which of the 2 companies you wanna work with....you will have problems with eD's customer service and TC's customer service. they both ****. ive bought from both and have had issues with both. due to the number of problems that eD has given customers, this forum isn't too friendly to them (just an fyi). between stealing driver designs to lying to customers and ripping them off, eD has created quite a hatred for itself on here.
of the 2 though, i'd go with the IS-101. what's your budget though? maybe there's some other stuff you might like too. also how much power do you have on tap at what load?

not worried about the budget, I have 1600rms at 4 ohms with the PPI PCX 2400. I bought the is used from a guy on here, it does get extremely loud and sound very good. I really have no reason to call tc sounds, when this blows I will just have to buy another sub since it does not have a warranty.

I forgot to mention though, the sub has to sound good in .8ft^3 sealed since the box is already made. thats why I bought the 101, small enclosure is all it needed.
