anyone have experience with powerbass?

does anywhere here have experience with powerbass 3xl subs? I am contemplating on trying two of the 10s, although i am kind of confused. on the website, it states it has a 443 oz motor structure, but still is only 750 watts rms. why make such a big motir structure for such small power handleing? any input on how a pair would do on around 2800 watts?

From what I heard they had a higher rms rating before, but people kept burning them up, so they had to keep lowering the rms.

They're "OK" subs from what ive found. For daily beating they're just fine. My buddy has 8 of the 3xl 15's that he does 133 on driveby score with - but he burns up all 8 of them every time he competes....lol
