...through 2.5cf....others said they perform well in larger boxes.

2.5 is alot smaller than 3.0 cubes either way..If u have the Oz already, try it out and see how u like it.

The subwoofer listed in the auction is new old stock. Those subs have been sitting around for over a year. TC does not warrant the sales on ebay.

The cone is aluminum but its a different finish ( no clear coat) and a different cone altogether. 3cubes is much to large, TC subs work well in smaller enclosures than larger ones from what ive seen. If it was 3cubes ported, you would be o.k. You can always " slug" the enclosure down by adding more mass ie: sheets of mdf or 2x4's to lower the internal volume.

They made the matrix, but then they went to a new buildhouse for the current matrix elite.

I looked at the website and the cone looks aluminum??? Also, if this is a TC-2000 how would it compare to an Oz ME as far as SQL goes? Would u say their about even? THANKS

I've purchased two woofers from the same guy on ebay, I have the 12's tc2+, I would not recommend getting that woofer, thats one of the older models and it looks like the old platform for the ed 15 ae. Not if you look at the fs the xmag is more than the xsus/xmax, what will more than likely happen is the same thing that happened to my brother 15ae, the motor will move the cone more than its supposed to causing it to seperate from the surround, and start ******* in. It happened twice with him and the 15 ae with rated power, and personally, I'd just get the newer tc woofers. The seller is great, but that design is flawed.
