Sub box for an '04 Silverado?

I think the primary limiting factor you are going to have will be mounting depth. I am working on a similar project for a friend of mine (haven't started yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ) Here is my thread you may have seen but has a few good ideas, http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197466

There is also a number of prefabbed boxes available such as These from subthump.com and These from proboxrocks.com

You can of course always design your own enclosure too, mounting depth I believe will be the major limiting factor, a seat lift can help some, but I believe the max height from the floor to the bottom of the seat in the front is around 13.5" and near the back where the floor slopes up is about 8.5" from the bottom of the seat to the floor. Building your own most likely will be the cheapest, however the prefab boxes can save a lot of headaches and come all finished.

Thanks! Very helpful...

I'm trying to get him to go pre-fab. I hate trying to move that back seat around and I'm not looking to spend the time and effort of building a box for him. It's a hobby for me I already have a good paying job...

Thanks again, though...
