i had mine sealed in .8 cuft. not soo sure about ported though. iirc, tc said it wouldnt be optimal to run them ported without a PR. but we all know what happened to them...

You can port them but you really need to keep the box volume low to keep them from being too boomy. 1.5 cubes tuned to the high 20s would work out well but the port length is going to get pretty long.
